Celine’s New Store

The new store opening brings with it the women’s’ ready-to-wear, signature leather goods and accessories.

The architectural design concept of the store was envisioned by creative director Hedi Slimane himself. Slimane has experimented in furniture design over the years and has created a new collection for the Celine stores, with a refined 21st century brutalism, an architecture style known for its use of functional reinforced concrete and steel, modular elements and utilitarian feel.

Slimane’s furniture for the newly revamped store, most of it made of light plywood, is elegantly minimalist. The wall cladded with panels of black marble, reclaimed oakwood, and gold-hued brass. Polished stainless steel has been used to craft horizontal shelves to create a balanced and expansive sculptural interior.

Contemporary artworks by established and acclaimed artist Hedva Ser, entitled ‘L’ELAN’ is another major feature of the space.
