Lajimo want you to Teka It All! 

26 May 2022, Johannesburg, South Africa – Pretoria’s Favourite Twins Lajimo (Spanish/Haitian for The Twins) are back with a brand-new single titled Teka. Known for their dance moves and performances around Pretoria’s best clubs, they have decided to give the people what they want with this new single.

Born Bridget and Prudence Maila, the twins fell in love with music at the age of 6 when they would hey would dance at weddings and birthday celebrations for friends and family. Their dancing skills were on full display in the “Ghanama” Zulu version music video by Paige. That was a clear indication that the pair had arrived. 

Their music journey has since been on the up and up, they have since signed to Big Boss Records. Lajimo have also impressed South Africa while performing on Espresso and featured on newspapers across the country.

Teka (Tsonga for Take) is a vibrant house/amapiano song that not only showcases the duo’s versatility, it is also a street anthem that will make any music lover regardless of genre hop onto the dance floor.
