FWB JHB RETURNS FOR ITS 8TH ANNUAL YEAR. 

A venture like no with the unique chance of featuring Africa Designers in the heart of Johannesburg City, , touching a core cultural insight, not only to keep telling our African stories but a gathering of people to celebrate talented Designers and models as they unpacked and showcased their stories from their perspective. This was opportunity for patrons to step in and experience what Africa has to offer.

FWB AFRICA is committed to fashioning meaningful partnerships based on marketing priorities and philanthropic needs. The collaboration between Avon South Africa #WatchMeNow, Radisson Blu Gautrain, BLM Naturals, LeAfrika, Perfect Choice SA, and Roimanitou and FWBAFRICA created a platform for young designers across Africa and maximum exposure through multiple touch points and built an emotional connection between the brands and the occasion

The theme was FashionPalette with the media and fashion scene personalities/figures this was the perfect opportunity for designers to showcase different taste palettes. The event offered Guests a space to enjoy fashion and entertainment in a vibrant and premium space with celebs, Influencers and Key Influential people. The event theme was brought to life across all touch points with Entertainment provided by a talented Upcoming Artist LUCIA JAKENI

This year’s Fashion Without Borders Africa hosted a blend of new talent, emerging and established names, with a talent list that comprises Refilwe Elliot (BW), Rachel Olombe (DRC), Siphokazi Mzekandaba (SA), Eva Kirsten (SA), Kaelo Godirwang (BW), Kagiso Lesotlho (BW), Thoko Kunene (SA), Nivaldo Thierry (Mozambique), Tumie Mohoasa-ngüo (BW), Sarah Quarcoopome Abbey (GHA) , Carole Lubelo (Eswatini), Sibu Sithole (SA), Abby LaDiva John (BW), Bontle Modise (SA), Althea Andrews (SA), Sarah Mubenesha (DRC), and Seabe Abby John (BW), Thando Piliso (SA), Jordan Tady (DRC).

Fashion without Borders Africa that took place on the 24-26 March 2022, at Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton, and Johannesburg. A week of Fashion and culture started with the Designers stall on the 24th – 26th followed by the Fashion Unpacked Masterclass on the 25th which was facilitated by Mothusi Lesolle – Transformational Fashion Designer – IZAURA(BW), Monte OZ – Africa International stringer and Fashion PR Expert (GHA), Debora Barnard – Head of Development and New Faces – Boss Models (RSA) Lesego Monareng – Managing Director – KLU Wealth and Legacy management (RSA), Barba Gaoganediwe – Head Destination Marketing and Communication – Gauteng Tourism Authority (RSA), Arno Van Huyssteen – Head of Digital experience and e-commerce AVON SA (RSA) and Nkhensani Mashaba – Market Coordinator BLM NATURALS (RSA).
