19 October 2021, Johannesburg, South Africa – Pretoria artist Hxdi Stross ( Pronounced Hodi Stross) has been traveling the world for the past 7 years and has had his origin questioned a few times. He has ended all speculation about his origin with his latest body of work titled Mfana Pitori (Boy from Pretoria).

The sound on the EP is from Pretoria. Thapelo Mashiane who has produced numerous chart-topping singles is on production and it does not disappoint. 

Mfana Pitori merges Pretoria’s signature sound and the Tropical vibe that Hxdi is best known for. The features on the project are also from Pitori. Pdot O comes through on the 1st track titled The City. Blaklez brings the Mamelodi flow on the second track, Stout. The 3rd track Madibuseng features another Mamelodi Native in N’veigh. 

This 5 track Project is certainly designed for the streets and will have any music fan jumping.
