Nomzamo recently made her highly anticipated debut in the sequel, Coming to America and she stars as a love interest. The star-studded film features the likes of Eddie Murphy, Shari Headley, and James Earl Jone.

Eddie paid tribute to her and said Nomzamo made him realize that his African accent was horrible. “She’s a wonderful actress. Beautiful. We had a great time working together. The actress has been doing great in her illustrious TV career. Dubbed “ The Next Big Thing” in Hollywood and making us proud of her feature on the Essence’s 20 Young Black Hollywood stars To Watch list, Mbatha has been flying the SA flag very high and making a name for herself.

Celebrating Mbatha, the piece wrote hailed her for all her famous career highlights, “Nomzamo Mbatha knows no bounds or limitations. While filming Isibaya, she spent time touring Kenyan refugee camps in her role as an UNHCR Ambassador.”

“It is that level of care and commitment that has made her a sought-after star in projects like “Tell Me Sweet Something” and “The Jakes Are Missing.” In 2015, she became the first South African to represent Neutrogena and signed a talent management deal with CAA (Creative Artists Agency). Up next, Mbatha will be starring with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall in “Coming 2 America” in a role that’s described as being “kept under lock and key,” reads the piece.
