1. He’s  trustworthy – It’s never a good feeling to doubt your partner. Honesty and trust is everything in a relationship. If you hang out with your guy friends, She needs to trust that your being truthful  (and not actually out with your cute new coworker).  Once she established trust with you, the rest of the relationship should just come naturally.

2. You need to know how to make your girl laugh. Even if she cracks up at “Dad jokes”, being able to laugh and let loose over anything is a truly important characteristic that you should have. The best guy avoids childish pranks, and can see the humor in everyday situations. It’s especially great if you can lighten the mood  during stressful moments. When things seem dire, a good laugh is often hard to find.

3. You know how to manage your finances. Money is one of the number one things that couples fight about. She wants a guy who isn’t afraid to spend on occasion, but also knows that blowing his entire paycheck on video games is a bad idea. You should know that rent and utilities are  a higher priority than fancy dinners and pricey new clothes

4. You need to be a  family man.  Whether or not the two of you decide to have children or be childfree is completely up to you both,  but she’ll want a guy who at least knows how to act around kids. You also must not turn your nose up whenever your mom calls, since she knows how important it is to stay connected to family.

5. You must be adventurous. We all have weekends where we feel a little too attached to the couch, but in the grand scheme of things, You won’t be afraid to go outside and have an adventure with her. She wants to experience as much as you can, and have  no fear of exploring the unknown.

6. Your also ready to take on the title of “best friend.”  When something good happens to you, you want to tell your best friend. If something terrible happens to you, your bestie is usually the first person you think of venting to. And if your bestie is your girlfriend, all the better. You need to be with someone you want to share your life with, both the good and the bad.

7. You must truly  appreciates her quirks. Nobody’s perfect. Everyone has that one weird flaw that is hopefully cute and not terrifying. Your ideal girl will accept you just as you are, and won’t try to change you. In fact, maybe she was drawn to you based on that quirk.

8. Don’t be social media crazy. You get what I mean. You don’t spend hours checking your Facebook feed, and don’t craft events with her just for a Instagram photo. Like spending time with her, and realizes that not everything is a photo opportunity to share with the world.

9. You must have a Grand Plan for your life. It’s not too healthy to have everything planned by the year, but a guy who has a general rough draft of where he sees himself in a few years is a guy who doesn’t just coast through life. You’ve thought ahead, and have visions of where you’d be happiest, as well as a direction on how to get there.

10. You must inspire her to be a better person. This one is super important. She want to be with someone who makes her strive to be the best version of herself that she can be. She’ll never outwardly say that you should change, but you’ll evolve naturally due to the fact that she believes in you
